Installation of sensors at Rhodope

Multi-parameter sensors have also been installed at the Rhodope test site in Eastern Greece. The installation required the modifcation of boreholes to accomodate the multi-parameter sensor in a separate and safe tube and includes full energy supply and remote data transmission.

The installation involved the MEDSAL team of SWRI in Greece and additional technical staff of SWRI. The multi-parameter sensor will provide continuous data of water quality parameters relevant for the assessment of groundwater salinization.
