Open Info Day in Rhodope (Greece)

An “Open Info Day” event was held on 20 February 2023 within the context of the MEDSAL project in Komotini (Rhodope, northern Greece). The info day was dedicated to presenting the final results for the Rhdope pilot site about the salinization of the coastal aquifers. The event concluded with deliberating the proposed groundwater management plans with the local and regional stakeholders and farmers. Valuable outcomes were extracted for both sides and the successful interaction between all involved parties resulted in proposing a successful scheme for monitoring, management and decision-making.
