General Assembly 3rd Meeting in Lübeck 2021

MEDSAL Project held its General Assembly (GA) 3rd meeting, on the 2nd – 3rd of November 2021 in a hybrid mode (face-to-face and/or online participation) at the Technische Hochschule Lübeck (Germany).
The GA 3rd meeting involved principal investigators and researchers of all seven Partners (SWRI and CERTH – Greece, THL – Germany, CUT – Cyprus, POLIBA – Italy, FST – Tunisia, MEU – Turkey) coordinated by Dr. Evangelos Tziritis (SWRI).
The discussion concerned the work carried out by each Working Group, pointing out to address the difficulties faced and issues that arose since the last GA meeting. An extensive discussion focusing on several topics (such as current salinization assessment, isotope methods, geostatistical modeling, Artificial Intelligence, hydrochemical and groundwater modelling, Web GIS Observatory, Young Scientists, Summer School, next conferences) was carried out to ensure the smooth accomplishment of project tasks, deliverables, as well as future events.
